Pre-Operative Instructions
For External & Nasal Surgery
If you’re having external or nasal surgery, it’s important to follow Dr. Monica Tadros’ instructions to prepare for your procedure.
Things To Do
Medical Clearance & Transportation
Medical clearance needs to be completed two weeks before surgery. The purpose of medical clearance is to get you cleared for your surgery, and your primary care physician can do it. If you do not have one, just let us know.
Please arrange for an escort to take you home from surgery and for someone to help care for you at home the night of surgery.
Pre-Op Medications
Please take Arnica Montana (5 pellets/3x a day) and Bromelain (1 capsule/3x a day) three days before surgery. Please note: The Arnica pellets should be placed under your tongue to dissolve (sublingual).
Do not chase or crush them to prevent swelling and bruising. It should be started three days before surgery and continued until all swelling and bruising have been resolved. Do not use any other supplements without first consulting Dr. Tadros.
