Presitgious Holt Leadership Award Presented To Dr. Monica Tadros By Academy Of Otolryngology

New York, NY – Dr. Monica Tadros was awarded the prestigious Holt Leadership Award from the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery for her on-going leadership, teaching and dedication to her specialty.
Dr. Tadros, who has shown admirable dedication and altruism through volunteer service, is the recipient of the Holt Leadership Award. This award is given to the fellow who best exemplifies the attributes of a leader – honesty, integrity, fairness, advocacy and enthusiasm. Currently in academic practice at the New York Presbyterian/Columbia Medical Center, Dr. Tadros served the academy as Chair of the Section for Residents & Fellows, overseeing the interests of all the residents and fellows nationally in 2004. She presented educational miniseminars at the annual meetings in 2005 and 2006. Her work in teaching and resident education has also been recognized with an “Outstanding Leadership Award” from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). She has published award-winning articles in several otolaryngology journals and contributed to a number of research projects and presentations. As a highly involved fellow of the academy, Dr. Monica Tadros has shown that se is a worthy recipient of the Holt Leadership Award.
