Facial Filler Injections to
Re-Contour Your Face
Filler injections are formulated solutions and products. Various injectable fillers may be injected into the skin as a preventative tactic and as a way to rejuvenate or sculpt the face by adding volume to selected areas.
Filler injection restoration and rejuvenation treatments aim to replace volume where soft tissue loss has led to visible signs of aging. Facial sculpting and filler injection procedures, like Lip Shaping and Cheek Augmentation take this a step further to re-contour the face. Dr. Monica Tadros offers filler injection in her New Jersey facial plastic surgery center.
Facial Filler Injections In Depth
Many filler injections and collagen stimulating products that are available in NYC & NJ offer a variety of benefits; such as the removal of wrinkles, facial plumping and sculpting, improvement of acne scars and other imperfections and lip shaping. There is no perfect filler injection for everyone or for every location.
Quite the contrary, a wide assortment of approved and effective fillers are made up of different consistency and formulations to help doctors customize the best possible options available in NYC & NJ.
It is important to have an in-depth conversation about all of the different types of filler injections to determine you achieve the most natural result depending on your individual needs. Results are immediate and can be long-lasting.
How do Dr. Tadros’ filler injection techniques differ from the injection methods performed by other doctors?
Dr. Tadros has performed thousands of filler injections in NYC & NJ, as well as internationally, for over a decade. She has seasoned expertise injecting just about every “safe” filler and rejuvenation product available on the market. She has treated a variety of diverse patients who have all benefited from the results of non-surgical procedures.
Dr. Tadros believes that every product has its specific properties that make customizing these injections a very individual and ideal process for delivering superior results. She has pioneered the “Love Your LipsTM” and “Best Liquid FaceliftTM” technique which helped to redefine non-invasive options with durable results.
To achieve exceptional outcomes, NJ patients can expect a natural touch, an aesthetic eye, minimal to no bruising and long-lasting effects. Dr. Tadros has pioneered rapid recovery techniques for filler injection of all facial fillers with Injection cannulas from Cosmo France to decrease discomfort and nearly eliminate bruising.
When needles are required to inject fine fillers and botulinum toxin she uses the tiniest 32 gauge injection needles (smaller than an insulin needle) imported from Japan to NJ. Finally, Dr. Tadros just does not like pain; she uses the strongest topical numbing cream available, the tiniest needles, and has a light touch. Get the best filler injection NJ has to offer.

What are Hyaluronic Acid Fillers?
Hyaluronic acid is the natural filler component and substance found in your body. The face starts to lack volume and appears aged with deeper nasolabial folds, unaesthetic marionette lines, a deeper mentalis fold, thinning of the lips, all while turning down the corners of the lips.
Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm are filler injections that can be injected extraorally right underneath these folds to replace the volume lost creating a younger look in the face. Dermal injections can be used for high lip line cases, asymmetrical lips around the mouth, lip and augmentation.
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring polysaccharide (a sugar molecule) found in the extracellular matrix of our cells to hydrate and regenerate the dermis. Since hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring polymer in the body, allergy testing is not required. Popular NJ hyaluronic acid filler injection dermal fillers include Restylane®, Perlane®, Juvéderm® and Belotero®.
What is Radiesse?
Radiesse® is a calcium-based filler used in filler injection in NYC & NJ and internationally that is virtually non-allergenic and also recognized by the body as a natural substance. A Radiesse® injection improves volume and has been shown to stimulate new collagen formation in injected areas.
The benefits of filler injection treatments in NYC & NJ are considered semi-permanent with most patients showing significant improvement for one to two years after injection.
The filler injection product provides a heavier consistency than hyaluronic acid type fillers, proving invaluable for facial augmentation and heavier-skinned individuals who want filler injection. It can also be layered deep to hyaluronic acid fillers to maximize contouring.
What is Sculptra?
Sculptra Aesthetic® is the most powerful FDA-approved collagen-stimulating, filler injection agent that boosts facial rejuvenation and helps provide more long-lasting results for patients in NYC & NJ.
Sculptra is not actually an agent and is not used for direct wrinkle correction. It is a new type of facial injectable for filler injection made from biodegradable poly-L-lactic acid (the same material used in self-absorbing sutures).
This polymer gets injected deep into the tissues of the face to stimulate the body to produce its own collagen (similar to wound healing) roughly over an 8-12 week period following the treatment.
What to expect from Sculptra therapy:
The changes caused by filler injection are gradual over a few weeks and each session in NYC & NJ provides roughly a 30 percent correction in the average patient. As collagen is stimulated with filler injection, youthful volume and facial tightening is achieved naturally. A full face, filler injection treatment of Sculptra usually requires three treatment sessions (six vials) over a few months in NYC & NJ. As with every filler product, efficacy and durability may be variable.
The average NJ patient who undergoes full filler injection treatment in Dr. Tadros’ practice usually requires a single vial touch-up annually to maintain the desired results. More commonly, Dr. Tadros uses single vial Sculptra as an adjunct to other filler injection and skin treatments to boost durability and filler results. Sculptra is always the filler injection product of choice in NYC & NJ when fillers just aren’t enough and the goal is to plump the mid-face (submalar area).
What about Collagen and filler injection?
Collagen was the original filling agent approved by the FDA in 1982 for safe and reliable augmentation and filler injection. It is the gold standard to which all fillers on the filler injection market have been compared. Although still available in some filler injection markets, collagen is less commonly used in NYC & NJ because of rapid resorption and hypersensitivity reactions when compared with newer FDA approved filler injection products now more commonly available in NYC & NJ and worldwide.

What to Expect during Facial Filler Injection?
A filler injection occurs when fillers are injected into the skin through a very fine needle into different layers depending on the consistency and the area to be corrected. Topical anesthesia (cream) or local blocks are used to numb the filler injection area and minimize discomfort.
A combination of techniques are used in the form of a series of beads or linear threads to strategically recontour the desired zone and efface wrinkles. After filler injection in NYC & NJ, the area is gently molded in place to result in a smooth, natural contour. Ice packs or cool compresses may be used to reduce swelling.
How can Facial Filler Injections help rejuvenate my face?
Filler injections and botulinum toxin (Botox/Dysport) are the workhorses of nonsurgical facial rejuvenation. As our faces change with aging, we notice our skin begins to wrinkle and the creases around our eyes and mouth begin to deepen. Filler injection with New Jersey's best plastic surgeon Dr. Tadros can help.
There are two processes occurring simultaneously: 1) the loss of volume (treated with fillers and collagen stimulators) and 2) the over-activity of our facial muscles (treated with Botox or Dysport filler injection to relax or eliminate deep creases).
Years of muscle movement including smiling, chewing, and squinting reinforce these deep lines often referred to as the “11’s/elevens” of the forehead and smile lines around the face and eyes. As we age and lose more volume, these creases become more and more apparent. Read more about Botox / Dysport. Get filler injection NJ with Dr. Tadros for a more youthful appearance.
