This results in pressure and retained fluid in the sinuses called an acute sinus infection.

Balloon Sinuplasty
If you have severe, chronic sinus infections, Dr. Tadros may recommend a balloon sinuplasty. This in-office procedure restores normal sinus ventilation to repair the circulation of your nasal system.
Unlike typical sinus surgery, there are no incisions. Instead, we go through the nostrils to open the nasal passages. The balloon procedure is performed under local anesthesia when done alone. Once you’re numb, it takes about 15 minutes, start to finish. You can go back to your regular schedule about 24 hours after your appointment.
In some severe cases, Dr. Tadros may recommend a balloon sinuplasty in conjunction with surgery. Dr. Tadros has been performing these procedures for years and has revolutionized the process to give you the best results as comfortably as possible.
